Something Different for Explorers

You may have heard of the Young instructors scheme, i have been trying to sort out getting involved with the scheme for quite a while but due to email errors it has taken a while.
So you may be thinking what is it?
The Young instructors scheme is to encourage Explorers 14-18 to take part in new Outdoor activities to earn the skills and knowledge needed to be able to earn badges and national awards in the activity areas. Not only this but you will then be able to help instruct young people at different events.
These are the requirements of the partipicants from what i understand.

You must have Module A and a first response training but Dave (coordinator) said if there is lots with out it he may be putting a course on for it so it is not as important as the Module A which we all must have.
Taking part means you complete the Activity badge for that activity and the Activity badge plus in the activity area, there is four different choices as listed in the registration form and the partipicant can do one or all the sections.
If the activity has National awards these may also be completed.
The Explorer must attend at least 6 activity days to assist as a young instructor or to receive training and can do loads more if they wish, but it is solely on the explorer to be expected to get involved otherwise they could be kicked from the scheme.
Must be an explorer 14-18 years old.

If you look on your Emails there is the registration forms along with, a calender of events for this year and another terms and conditions page.
Any questions just ask.
