PL's Camp 2009

PL's camp has all be organised using text, twitter and email this time! Cutting edge! Thats us! Ahem.

We'll be at Moorhouse in Durham, but don't panic parents, this time we'll be ferrying your little angels to and from camp. Oh how they love our music choice in the car. I have Ralph McTell lined up to get them in the mood!

Things to bring (kit list), Roll mat, sleeping bag, Vera Lynn Pyjamas, warm clothes to get mucky and some street wear to blend in with the general population. Don't forget, uniform. Arrive and leave in uniform, as always.

If you are any kind of Scout you may have noticed the subtext of blending in. We will indeed, in PL camp tradition, be having a 'wide game' in a city centre.

There's new tents to pitch, the Swamp to shelter inside and alter fires to cook on. What more could you wish for?

Meet at Village Hall Friday 11th September 6pm (In Uniform)

Collect Sunday 13th at 12pm at the Village Hall.

Cost for the weekend is £25, cheques payable to Barton Scout Group.

Don't forget waterproofs, even if the weather forecast is good! There is no need for walking boots you'll be pleased to know.
